I was trying to sleep after finishing an essay on Wittgenstein's misappropriated view of certainty, and how (by his own confession) his ego negatively impacted his linguistic style and compromised core tenets of his philosophy.

I doubt get why cat haters are so loud and proud of this personality trait. Why is society so accepting of this, while not liking dogs makes people act like you're Hitler? I don't like dogs. They're annoying and they try to jump up on you.

ONLY dog lovers who don't like cats are as stupidly lout and proud about how they hate the other.

I think it's along the lines of dog people who don't actually love the companionship, but only value other living things in how useful and subservient they are to them. That's why the go to for vocal cat haters is always "You can train dogs! A cat can't fetch you things or guard your house!"

I've known so many shitty dog owners like that. The idea of an animal not obeying is simply enraging to them.

Part of the reason is that cats love me irrationally. I've lost count of how many times I've heard "weird, she doesn't normally take to strangers.." as I'm pushing a cat off my lap. Not into the animal magnetism thing.

I also had a cat for 16 years. RIP Abigail, AKA Abby the Flabby, not tabby yet sometimes stabby.
