All architectural styles are dumb as shit. A big investment of resources like a building *should* always have a multitude of much higher priority practical design goals overriding its merely superficial appearance. (like what will be its embodied energy? how long will it last? how maintainable is it? What will its carbon footprint over lifetime be? Does it provide natural sunlight and ventilation? Is the space fit for purpose for the activity to be carried out within it etc. etc.)
..
But post-modernism was particularly dumb and awful.

Cena_mark - 2023-03-13 Hardly. Lego Adults don't make annual pilgrimages to Legoland. They just like to build. Disney gets adults to spend fortunes on pilgrimages to their overrated park full of baby rides. I can go to Six Flags for cheap, not drive halfway across the country, and enjoy real rides.
