This is a form of boomer humor that's dying off. It's like the old boomer humor of the Lockhorns and Andy Capp where most of the jokes are like, "marriage sucks, lol." This is just a different twist on this joke where the humor is "my children suck, lol!"
This type of humor was hilariously lampooned in Gravity Falls with Grunkle Stan's "But her aim is getting better" joke.

SolRo - 2023-03-30 That type of humor originated in the boomer times when marriage and family was still taken super seriously and could only be good, thus it was kind of the edgy humor of the time.
Fuckin 70 years later, yeah it’s very boring now.
