Fun tips for anybody interested:
Make a rub of black, red and white pepper, paprika, cayenne, salt. Make a lot, save half. Half gets rubbed on the outside of the bird, the other half goes into your half-finished Tecate that you shove into the arse of the full chicken. 375 until done. It is so dope.

Since I've taken the up the IZ LJ mantle:
I've got a half-aunt in Mississippi that falls for this shit all the time. Tupperware, makeup - you name it, she's gotten dragged into it.
Thanksgiving in Mississippi, and I've finally brought my girlfriend of 6 or 7 years to meet the extended family. I can't stress enough how neck they are. They were audibly relieved that I brought a girl around ("so he's not a fag"), and I had warned her to keep close because they're all nuts.
I'm coming back from taking a piss, and MLM Aunt has literally cornered her with every scheme she's stuck in, and my gf is just trying to get out of it by pretending to be mildly interested.
Biggest fight ever on the drive home, and the gf didn't realize what she had done. In the morning I get a text asking what's the best date to host a "gold party" at my apt, and how many friends does my girlfriend have.
That shit's um.. depressing.
