Israel used to have a pretty seamless and massively powerful propaganda machine that could just steamroll over anything that criticized them, and I never allowed myself to even dream that it would fall apart like this in front of everybody, and that normies would maintain their attention on it long enough to actually notice.

I guess I shouldn't celebrate too much because Israel can still order Congress to ban an entire social media app and boom they just do it with bipartisan supermajorities, but also that's another thing that is just transparently corruption while the whole country is watching it happen, stunned. Talk to anybody under age 30 about the Tiktok ban and they know it's because Israel and the US government don't want people to talk about the genocide. Nobody cares about China or thinks the US government has good intentions.

So things are actually changing, and Israel falling on it's face with these rape accusations, being called out in media outlets that used to always tow the Israeli government line, is really something. It's real progress.
