sheet music + any MIDI software ever + a very basic program that displays MIDI notes as blocks and changes color for different instrument patches = a video that loses it's appeal after 15 seconds

This was interesting for 15 seconds. Squares in place of the notes. Ooooh. Aaaah. I hope you don't ever see one of those midi keyboards that actually flashes lights behind each key as it plays a song, you'd be mesmerized into fainting.
