Annoying music, but short enough that I thought it was worth just for the last 3.
KnowFuture - 2007-12-22
Somehow, crappy 1970s FM rock frames this nicely IMO.

RandomFerret - 2008-01-13
Man, screw both you guys. The Allman Brothers are awesome.

I'm disappointed that they took that scene from Deathstalker 2 instead of "I put the! beats in my own! script and I! will! use them!"

Hooper_X - 2008-04-11
Seriously, this works really well, not least of all because you KNOW Mike Nelson rocks out to some sweet Allman Brothers when he's hanging out with his Camaro.

Frank Rizzo - 2007-12-22

these are definite wtf moments.
citrusmirakel - 2007-12-22
This collection is very clearly missing the "EXTRA! PAPER! READ ALL ABOUT IT!" scene from Invasion: USA.

I am a terrible nerd, I know.
StanleyPain - 2007-12-22
Or better yet....the "Help me" thing from that same movie.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-12-23
"Help me" was from Rocket Attack, U.S.A. That's a Joel-era film.

A Jumping Spider! - 2007-12-22
I was afraid they wern't going to include my favorite, but oh boy, it's at the end.
j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-02-09
Yeah, that last one and "I'm back!" could carry this thing all by themselves.

I only feel regret that basic cable didn't carry the channel MST3K was on when I was a kid until well after the show was done and over. :( I wonder how much the box sets are running for?

themilkshark - 2007-12-22
When a friend and I watched "Girl in Gold Boots" we had to stop the DVD after the "I'm back!" gag... We were both laughing so hard we couldn't breathe.
oogaBooga - 2009-01-09
Can you explain to me why the "i'm back" comment was funny?

I'm serious. Please? I watched it like 10 times and still wonder what the fuck is funny.

Bort - 2011-11-14
If you were to watch the sequence without MST3K to put it in your mind that Buzz teleported, it would just look like a mundane film splice. I suspect that's the mistake you're making: you're not buying into the premise that Buzz is just appearing out of nowhere. And the punchline is, he's such a third wheel nobody even cares.

NoCode - 2007-12-22

I love that Girl In The Gold Boots moment, too.
StanleyPain - 2007-12-22

The Deadly Bees thing is easily the best, but it's totally out of context..not funny unless you've seen the entire movie, and I sincerely hope that one hits DVD soon...Deadly Bees is easily one of the better Sci-Fi era ones
Vicious - 2008-01-10
I've seen that episode at least three times and I still can't figure out who the hell that guy was.

Also needs "Sure!" from Clonus, "pretty mind" from Gold Boots, "sargassum" from Dr. Z, and "STAAAAY!" from The Undead. Also some of the nasty old people and "I'M DOCTOR TED NELSON!" from Melting Man, the matronly giant from Prince of Space, Saint John the Baptist in Bloodlust, "he didn't steal no bike" from Teenage Strangler, "You disGUSTing woooooorm" from Outlaw, the maid from Radar Secret Service ("There's a dead man!" "I'll take care of it," "Thank yooooou!"), the crazy aunt from Girls Town, Gloria in "The Sinister Urge" ("Nuh-uh! No way! That's not Dirk!"), The wind demon in The Sword and the Dragon, most of Jack Frost, "Flag on the moon," and...

seriouslyuguys - 2008-02-19
The guy at the end of Deadly Bees is the patent inspector from earlier in the movie.

Merzbau - 2007-12-22
Y'all bring matches fer Mikey?
RockBolt - 2007-12-22
Girl in Gold Boots was a classic, but defintely needs the Revenge of the Creature guy attached to a pulley and swung into a tree moment
Samisyosam - 2007-12-23
Where's Torgo?
kingarthur - 2007-12-23
Torgo technically originated during the Joel era, though he was played by Mike. Fellow MST3K nerd clarifying things.

tamago - 2007-12-23
One star taken away for no creepy laughing reindeer from Santa Claus.
kingarthur - 2007-12-23
Santa Claus versus The Martians. Again, Joel era.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-12-23
No, he means the Mexican one. That was done by Mike.

Squeamish - 2008-01-09
The McK - 2008-02-01
(Manic sexualized dancing)

The host segments were generally pretty bad, but god do I love that one.
