It's the german accents that make this goofy.
King of Balls
The lady robot has a Russian accent.
A humorous scene, sure, but the line about machines being infallible is very profound. It makes you think - is Gunther's human side somehow making him fail as a machine? This complex theme is expanded throughout the game quite interestingly.
oh my god, the earth is hollow!
No, what's making him fail as a machine is two little words: Laputan Machine.
"I'm not a machine!"
"Sticks and stones."
They would go on to top this theme in the sequel with "Starbucks vs. Coffee Bean"
"I vanted orange - it gave me lemon-lime."
For a man-machine hybrid with more firepower than a small third-world nation, he sure does whine a lot.
"I do not make mistakes of that kind" was a pretty clever literary reference
What's it a reference to?
I don't remember that at all. Who says it, O'Brian?"
Near the end where O'Brien tortures Smith.
"We do not make mistakes of that kind. All the confessions that are ordered here are true. We make them true. And, above all, we do not allow the dead to rise up against us."
I played this game and I enjoyed it.
So why the one star?
AH HA HAHA that's great!
The hell? I'm confused.
This is one of my favorite games of all time. This clip is funny. Both these things in my mind can be true.
i like how the player shakes his head in disbelief at the end
One of the best games ever.
