He was a special attraction in the old territory days, traveling from promotion to promotion doing one-off hardcore matches. Since every time he wrestled he was in a new city, his hardcore match was always new to the crowd and thus he had to go crazy night after night, taking a toll both mentally (the travel) and physically (self-inflicted hardcore stunts).
