Hodge - 2008-04-13 Was this cartoon inspired by Death bed: the bed that eats people?
Binro the Heretic - 2008-04-13 Courage is an awesome and, at times, subversive cartoon. Episodes range from extremely silly to deeply poignant.
My favorite is "Last of the Starmakers." The episode opens with a pair giant space-faring squids who create stars. When the male sacrifices himself to save his mate from a giant space whale, the female crash-lands on the Bagges' farm.
Eustace, jerk that he is, calls the military in for the reward money. the squid is isolated in a giant bubble by military scientists who suck out most of her fluids, take away her clutch of eggs and begin performing experiments on her. Courage and Muriel desperately work to free the squid and her unhatched young.
Then there's the episode where Courage works to free a rabbit from her abusive relationship with a doberman gangster in order to reunite the bunny with her lesbian cat friend.
Dillworth also did a few extremely fucked-up shorts that appeared on MTV's "Liquid Television."
VoilaIntruder - 2008-04-13 Last of the Starmakers was the episode that won me over, and has somehow stuck with me much longer than most any other cartoon I've seen.
