Hooper_X Having actually worked in news, I can safely say that the Chyron operators are not always the sharpest tools in the shed. I never had a mispunch THAT bad on my cast, but you can expect a screwup at least once every two weeks on any given show.

YakooMarkTwo Maybe it was a copy and paste error where "Child Molester" was saved on the clipboard from a past story. Though I admittedly don't know how these things actually work.
