they better send a "meat truck"..this would be better if it just ended at 7:37

Wrong. Completely wrong. 100% wrong. I will personally give you one thousand dollars if you can name one thing that isn't perfect about the last two minutes of this clip. Sometimes, I think you just don't understand movies, man.

I want my post-apocolyptic police cars to be goofy-yellow painted.

Also, wow.

This movie is so awesome I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious: by one-starring this clip, you have shown yourself to be a very, very stupid person.

You are blaspheming again. I don't have to work with a blasphemer.

Fantastic film. You know, I've never seen Mad Max with the original dialog...I should pick that DVD up.

As a kid I only ever saw it with the American dub and for some reason I like it better that way. It just adds such a surreal dimension when nobody's mouth matches their voice. Or maybe it's just a nostalgia thing.

P.S. holy shit is that girl ever hot.

All kinds of right

Great movie, great series. Though I've never been able to ignore the fact that Mad Max drives AN AUTOMATIC.
Also, I hear that the gas fumes from this series is what made Mel Gibson the crazy-psycho he is now. Actually, I just made that up.

I dare you to find a police cruiser in America today with a stick shift. Charger Interceptors don't even have the standard Charger manumatic because they need the space for their laptop mount.

OgreMkIV - 2008-10-10
Not to mention most cops would destroy a stick shift using the cars like they do.

The only version of this movie I've ever seen was one that was dubbed over with American voice actors. I never understood the point of that. It didn't hurt the movie any, but still, kind of weird.

Camonk - 2008-04-19
Man this is one dystopian future they've got here. Actually that's a lie, cause Australia is almost exactly like that, now, only the police aren't nearly as awesome.
OgreMkIV - 2008-04-19
Two observations:

William Gaines appears to make a cameo as the truck stop cook.

The Nightrider appears to have triggered the secret booster rocket at the end.

Still, a boatload of awesome. Too bad about the Goose later.
