There was a TV station where I spent my late teenage years that would show Crystal Maze at 2:00 AM. Scenes like this got me addicted to it.
The two guys who designed Warhammer made all the puzzles for this. Half of them are sadistically, hilariously broken.
My father designed and submitted a few puzzles for this show but they were "rejected" only to show up in in a later series without credit. In short Richard O'Brian ripped my dad off.
