You think that's disturbing, I used to have a legless Monchichi doll that was constructed from crappy glued-on rabbit fur and the re-painted plastic face and hands of an actual Monchichi doll; it was held together inside with a wire frame and paper stuffing (sort of). It was obviously pretty old; and the fur and paintjob looked the part.
I had gotten it for a quarter at the Salvation Army, mainly just to show people and prove its existence as it was almost indescribably ghoulish yet had clearly been intended for a child at some point - folk art gone completely wrong. It sat on my shelf for a few weeks, until my dog decided it was an affront to sanity, and deliciously rank, and managed to pull it down and shred it.
The head is still somewhere packed away, and is still pretty ugly, even without its limp little arms and torso/stump.
