I remember getting Terminator Chess thinking it'd be a neat terminator version of Battle Chess, only to find out that each piece had a grand total of ONE battle animation.

Ah, horrible point and click adventures of the 90's I remember you well. That was a lot of exposition for a point and click adventure game wasn't it? Or am I just thinking it was longer because it didn't involve pirates, monkeys or Guybrush Threepwood?
