Ah yes, the infamous Dread Lord Pirate Zorro.

Also, what? He stretches? What the...oh wait it's anime, and I don't care. Never mind.

Don't blame America, blame the Japanophiles.
Sudan no1
Actually, if a Japanophile is forced to listen to this more than once they're guaranteed to have a seizure. Like flashing lights to an epileptic.

I knew a guy who would cover his ears and rock back and forth and cry if we played this. Not in a funny, ironic way, either. Dude had a big Straw Hat pirate flag on his wall.

One of those people you meet that gives you that sobering thought, "We enjoy the same things. This person and I have things in common."

The original version of this show is actually really awesome, because it does something hardly any Japanese media does: it's aware of how ridiculous it is. Imagine a whole show full of moments like Goofy dying in Kingdom Hearts, but done that way on purpose.

One of the bad guys eats himself. Whole.
One of the main characters is a dude who used train wreckage to turn himself into a cyborg, but he couldn't reach his own back so he's only a cyborg in the front. He has a freezer in his stomach for storing coke bottles which he uses as a power source. Also he never ever wears proper pants.

I'm taking this summary from another website:

"o fight the massive zombie Oz, Franky, Chopper, Usopp, Zoro, and Sanji "combine" (really just stand on each other) into a massive humanoid figure dubbed "Big Emperor". It didn't do anything besides add extra comedic value, because Robin refused to "dock in" as the left arm, claiming that it would be "too embarrassing"."

Caminante Nocturno
I don't even watch this show, and this theme song still hurts.
This stupid song actually made me angry. Like, I really, seriously got mad at it.
Chopper's doctoring!
