Also, it seems like 60's Bollywood was more racist (in the requirement that all visible skin be bleached white, even amongst the dining extras) than modern Bollywood.

70's actually...Bollywood fashions seem to have a five to ten year lag time. Anyway there are a lot of "wet sari" type scenes in old Bollywood movies (look up Zeenat Aman on Youtube).
