Paracelsus I think McCain's particular case invites it more than usual. Especially after the tone of the 2000 nomination process: "Senator McCain sacrifices children to Baal and would sodomize your aunt with a gopher. Vote Bush."
fluffy I do remember a time that I actually agreed with some of McCain's politics, and I was starting to think that it was all just a bizarre fever dream. Now I know otherwise.
