They are from New Zealand

Yeah the subtitles are totally in line with the running gag of the show. Also, how could anyone understand them through those Kiwi accents anyway?

I own season 1 on DVD and, as of one watching, I've had no problems translating their English dialog into English.

Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm from New Zealand. Everything they say with that accent sounds like a supercilious sneer.

Rendered unwatchable by subtitles.
