You know, ultimately what's disturbing about this whole thing is the origins of it and why this person did this. From what I've been hearing, she has a record of mental illness and is known for weird things like this. It sounds tin-foil hat-ish, but it really begs the question of what motivated her and whether there was some push somewhere.

Well she's a member of the College Republicans, and I'm guessing she told at least one other person there. I would seriously doubt anyone much higher up would condone this, especially given how clumsy and transparent the attempt.

I mean for God's sake, she not only wrote it backwards, and didn't use the ATM as she claimed, but she even had "Lying is the most fun thing a girl can do" on her Facebook. The ineptitude is almost as offensive as the race-baiting.
