Well, Need for Speed started out as a 3DO exclusive.
The main problem with the 3DO is that it was designed by committee to be manufactured and sold by many separate companies, so they couldn't subsidize the system cost by game licensing fees and so the system was much more expensive to the consumer. As a result, the only games written for it were half-assed tech demos and shovelware-esque ports from other systems.
Unsung - 2008-11-18 It think it still could`ve been at least halfway decent if focused on 2d games and not forcing delevopers to shove FMV and digitized EVERYTHING into my face every 2 seconds (1st-gen PSX games ring a bell?). But then world would never be blessed with Plumbers Don`t Wear Ties.
boner - 2008-11-17 It seems the more expensive a game system is, the worse the games are.
DMKA - 2008-11-18 *insert jab at the PS3 from a 360/Wii fanboy here*
RockBolt - 2008-11-18 That's some great collision detection there
