those kids are dead!

It's weird seeing someone wear a maid's outfit in a non-ironic/sexy manner.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2008-12-07

If the kids were 6 when this was made, that would make them 116 years old today.

If the maid was about 30, she would have been 140 years old this year. Plus she would have been born 3 years after Lincoln's assassination.

Hey, Fluffy, what are you on about? You ask where the soundtrack and dialogue are - well, this film was made 30 years before sound films were invented. Then you say that the special effects are 'lame'! Lame? The film was made 110 years ago, only 3 years after the very first film was made. These special effects aren't lame - they're miraculous!

cenerentola's sarcasm sequencer needs to be fixed!

Santa's job was easier back then, when all it took was a couple of candy canes to make kids happy.

I like the Tim Allen version more.

Chibisuke - 2008-12-07

I had no idea Santa carried a homely little christmas tree around with him wherever he went. Also the preview images looks like a moon vista with the death star hanging over it.

Not sure when the stories of Santa diverged, but he is clearly a sorcerer here.

Hanukkah Harry?

Amazing film - can't believe this was made over 100 years ago! Can we have more older films? Loved this one in the hopper - http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=48991&what=VOTING - it's about England during the war.
