Yes and no. really, it's a real serious drama, but then it becomes a funny as hell show (case in point, pretty much the entire most recent episode.)

You could guess the punchline 10 seconds in, so I spent three and half minutes thinking, "..and then the cops drive up. And THEN the cops drive up. AND THEN THE COPS DRIVE UP."

The cops aren't gonna show up unless THEY know Badger is going to sell meth, so the undercover cop has to get Badger to sell for him. That's why the cops don't show up.
