The lack of sound always gives these videos that nice little nudge over the line into the "physical reaction to emotional trauma" region.
On a side note, why aren't all of these videos tagged "Nightmare fuel" and "Northfur"? It would definitely make it easier to rape the minds of new visitors if there were some sort of reasoning behind the tags.
