Fixing the Sonic franchise is actually quite easy:

-NO STORIES
-NO human characters, other than robotnik
-NO stupid gimmicks
-No more dumb new characters: no shadow, silver or whatever their names are

Just put Sonic on some well designed scenarios and let him run there. That's it, it's no rocket science.

I don't get it. You guys saw the Yakuza montage that was up here. Sega REFUSES to bring that over based on sales concerns, meanwhile they're already made a teaser for a sonic game comming a year from now. Really, could Sonic possibly be selling that well? They really have that much faith in the series still? I just can't imagine it selling well at all. There can't be that many desperate furries who actually have a spare -60.....
