Time Travel Mishap - 2009-09-19 The way the big guys seem to say THATS SO CUTE to each other is actually one of my favorite parts of the movie even tho its not in the movie. I really wish they had found a way to work that back into the released version.
fluffy - 2009-09-19 They didn't delete this scene so much as they changed it so that Eve rescues Wall-E since that made for better character development.
I'd love to see how this ship functioned, since it could afford to toss out so much material and still keep their civilization running at such a high level of comfort.
Still, good movie.
fluffy - 2009-09-19 I wondered about that when I saw it in the theater, but one of the DVD extras explains that the Axiom is out in the Kuiper belt and mines it for raw materials to sustain itself indefinitely.
Time Travel Mishap - 2009-09-19 What all way's bugged me was all the broken wall-e's on earth. Wall-E was supposed to be so lonely...why dident he try to put together a working friend? there were 100's of those things sitting around. He had to have been able to piece together 1 working 1. instead he just kept stripping them for parts.
I think he killed them all. he wanted to be the only Wall-E.
themilkshark - 2009-09-19 Incredibly good point, and it irks me that the movie feels like you're not supposed to bother thinking that far into it.
The tone of the movie was far too storybookish for me... It's a shame they tamed it down so much for the theatrical release.
