This idiot is making a sequel to his awful awful movie. There is no justice in the world.
Rovin - 2009-09-24
People keep telling me I should see his flick. Now I'm not sure I want to do anything to support this fuck whatsoever.
HankFinch - 2009-09-24
I can't think of anyone who told me to watch this that wasn't just a friend of a friend

badideasinaction - 2009-09-24
He gets zero dollars from DVD sales, so rent your copy conscience-free. Fun in the right mood, but not exactly film brilliance either.

Here's the "unwarranted narcissism" tag...
lucienpsinger - 2009-09-24
Is this from that documentary that's basically about what a tremendous shit he is? Because holy crap do I wanna see that movie.
Paracelsus - 2009-09-24
It's excellent. 'Overnight'. Helps to explain the pile of shit the movie he made was.

lucienpsinger - 2009-09-24
Perfect. Does it explain why some many people inexplicably love it? Cuz I'm confused about that one, too.

Riskbreaker - 2009-09-24
Most of the fans of the movie (Boondock Saints) are either frat boys or kids. Nobody that you would take their opinion about movies seriously at all.

Jeff Fries - 2009-09-24
Or music, kids and their music

Paracelsus - 2009-09-24
I don't know why the appeal exists, especially since it's now inseparable from the doucheness of its creator. Agreed about the frat boys and other assorted dopes. A video game based on the film would probably be more entertaining, and the film about Duffy's stupidity is more interesting to watch by a factor of about a million.

I watched Overnight. This guy would have to clone himself, kill his clone, and then cannibalize the corpse in order to be more full of himself.

He's just gotten a record deal, and he's talking with the band's managers (who are also the filmmakers). They have been written out of the contract, and are asking about any money they might get from having worked really hard for the band. Duffy's telling them they don't deserve a penny. Then he corrects himself and says they do deserve some money; they're just not going to get it.

He screws himself over so thoroughly I started to feel bad for him after a while. But not too bad.

I had to go to IMDB to find out who this guy was, and his profile looked much like I thought it would.
mashedtater - 2009-09-24
that he edited it himself? i bet he did his wiki page too

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-09-24
Those are some cute overalls he's wearing. He looks like a cross between a My Buddy doll and a leather daddy.

Here are some stars for you.

Cleaner82 - 2009-09-24
I actually sort of like Boondock Saints, but the quality of it in no way manages to counterbalance the enormous douchehood on display here.
zatojones - 2009-09-24
if you like that movie you are a horrible person

TeenerTot - 2009-09-24
"Bruckheimer? Oh, yeah, I thought of a shocking thing to say about him! Roll back the film and center on my face...Ready?"
Sammy Barnathan - 2009-09-24
Some of the worst Irish accents in that film, too. Cringe-making. He's made it 'to the top', of what exactly? He's made one shit film and ten years later he's making... er, a sequel to that one shit film. Obviously a man overflowing with creative genius.
balistic - 2009-09-25
"Overnight" is really, really worth seeing.

joelkazoo - 2011-01-31
Absolutely. It's an amazing psychological endurance exercise. Just when you think you can't hate him any more than you possibly could, he goes and does something to make you hate him even more.

To paraphrase Chris Morris: "Troy Duffy, the next time you cross the street, don't look both ways."
