The execs at Cartoon Network told animators to make anything they wanted into a short animation and it would get shown on the air. There would be 39 cool cartoon shorts that could be used as pilots for new shows! Then the suits said, "Well OK we're not going to finish the project but the 14 shorts that got finished we'll show on the air." Then they said, "Actually, we're not going to air anything we're going to put it on YouTube." Then they said, "Showing Cartoonstitute episodes on YouTube is a copyright violation. Shut. Down. EVERYTHING." and it all got deleted.
