pastorofmuppets - 2009-10-19 I hope the next time they argue with the censors to keep a Quagmire rape joke in they just fax them back the script for this.
Time Travel Mishap - 2009-10-19 From the look of it they just took a old episode and redubbed it. If this is really what they did after Microsoft paid them to make a half hour commercial i will have a new found respect for Seth Macfarlane
Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-10-19 The Family Guy half hour Windows special is apparently going to have live versions of the show's songs - I always thought Seth McFarlane wanted to write musicals at heart, and this confirms it.
I'm hoping it's going to be so utterly ridiculous and tongue in cheek that it works. Any earnest attempt to sell Windows via a TV special falls somewhere between sponsored 50s variety shows and product placement in 80s films - something that's easy to satirize but difficult to take seriously.
RomancingTrain - 2009-10-19 You think McFarlane can do anything with finesse? Do you even know who you're talking about?
RomancingTrain - 2009-10-19 That "Twittering to say I'm twittering" joke was played out when people were making it about Mr Bell's amazing new Telephonic device.
The Townleybomb - 2009-10-19 What the hell show is this? It looks like a bad ripoff of the Simpsons....
Xenocide - 2009-10-19 Family Guy has improved tremendously since they cut down the episodes to 30 seconds each.
The sad thing is, this isn't even that good a redub. Look at Brian's mouth at the beginning.
Michael Houser - 2009-10-19 It was better when they did the scathing satire of 'Star Wars' with George Lucas's consent.
Smellvin - 2009-10-19 I checked the comments on the video and was very disappointed. They mostly were, "WINDOWS SUCKS" "NUH-UH!" "YA-HUH!" Now, why they'd expect someone to pay 0 to wipe their hard drives and get no real benefit upgrading from XP, I have no idea.
