From your YT comments:
"I can't wait for a 1950's mod where the black people have to sit in the back "
Your? YOUR? I TYPED "THE". What your fuck?
Holy crap, it's happening to me, too.
Your. Your. YoUr. YOUR. t h e.
I wonder if any of these will pass through...

Wasn't there a game like this for the Dreamcast, Japan only?
Yes, and it was impossible.

Something is very wrong with me I think because I want to play this.

I left this on while browsing facebook in another tab. It rocked my life.

Famous New York scenarios?
New York Bus Driver: 9-11
athodyd - 2009-11-22
Hahaha... wait this is 7 minutes long?

"You must be Carlos."
"So it is!"

This is the Tokyo Bus Guide localization I've always dreamed about, or at least close to it. If the gameworld is 100% (or 99%) correct NYC streets etc., I'm so getting this.

Gurd day! I'd lurk a tick-uht!
I think this is definitive proof that realism isn't something to strive for in video games. Although this is missing key details like the knife fights between homeless people and people who try to get on without paying and drunk people puking and whatever.
Incorrect, I think realism is what is going to save this game.
There is still a line though.
Wheel chair access ramp: AWESOME
Simulated safety feature that stops the bus from moving while the ramp is extended: bad
Adjustable ride height: AWESOME
Sensors that stop the bus from lowering if something (or someone) is jammed underneath: bad
I could go on and on...

I'm dying to know if you can take your bus over the curb and ultimately over the prospective passengers.
That's what I was hoping the "Bonus" at the end was going to feature... I waited the whole video for a punch line involving pedestrians getting run over while some death metal played.
"Ding.... Next stop GETTING RUN OVER BY A BUS MWAHAHAHA!!!"
boner - 2009-11-22
I want an iPhone version so I can play it whilst riding the bus.
godot - 2009-11-22
Its not really a sandbox. Only the M42 line on 42nd streen in Manhattan is simulated.
Their last blockbuster was a subway simulator: 2009 World of Subways Vol. 1 - New York Underground "The Path!"

Ohhh this is CITY Bus 2010, I thought it was going to be DESERT Bus 2010. My mistake.
You never heard about that Penn & Teller video game, did you?
Not only that but there's a Desert Bus marathon for charity. I heard one year they used teams of players to get 15 points. http://desertbus.org/

5 alone for the selling points.
Animated passangers! That have voices!
Detailed bus animations!
The bus moves like a bus!
You can look around the bus!
KillerGazebo - 2009-11-22
This is your stupidest game I've ever seen.
Koda Maja - 2009-11-22
Famous New York scenarios, like that incident where everyone in Times Square was frozen in time.
zatojones - 2009-11-23
Why would any game about public transit be set in the US?
jyrque - 2009-11-27
The epic of Carlos. Will he be able to keep the remnants of his failing sanity in the lifeless city filled with immobile mannequins?
Petrus - 2009-12-14
This game made me worry that a stranger had let themselves into my house.
Jet Bin Fever - 2010-02-03
That awkward conversation between Carlos and his boss really sells the realism of this game for me.
