revdrew Everyone who lived within an hours drive of Action Park knows someone who wiped out on the Alpine Slide. I hear they've converted it into regular old water slides now.
Doomstein Wouldn't surprise me if they did. It was a death trap. I only did it on a dare when workin at Seaside Heights that summer. That was the last summer I was working at the carousel amusement center. The year before MTV stuck their friggin beach house there for the first time and wrecked up the place.

Comatose2 I've wiped out on a similar slide and got the worst friction burns on my forearms and knees. My skin was weeping clear fluid from the huge scabs for days afterwards.
I fell on the track and I tried to stop myself, and I could just feel my arms getting hotter and hotter and then oh shit I'm all fucked up.
