I may be wrong, but it seems to me that "Annie Hall" is one of the mot important and influential films of my lifetime. It seems like adult humor about relationships took a giant leap into maturity, and after almost 40 years, many of our movies and (especially?) our TV shows are still better for it.

This line got a huge laugh. Mantras were big in the 70s. Goldblum was perfect. He had three seconds to convey the mix of self-importance, intensity, and fatuousness, and he nailed it.

Sigourney Weaver also had a small role in Annie Hall. I've seen this film a dozen of time, and i don't remember seeing her, but she's mentioned in the credits.
Sigourney Weaver is in it for about 3 seconds near the end when Woody Allen is trying to duplicate his experiences with Annie with a new girlfriend. There's the lobster scene again and he's laughing and trying to catch it and Sigourney just shrugs and says "Why don't you just pick it up already?"(or something similar). That joke made me laugh really hard, and yeah, I agree it was an extremely influential film.
