One of the great "midnight weekend monster movie madness" TV hosts. Stay up and make popcorn and watch a bad movie with Elvira and her cleavage
Hey I remember watching an Elvira movie, I bet thats perfect for Youtube
I'd like to hit her with MY penis, if you know what I mean.
And by penis I meant my boom mic
I thought you meant "slab of raw liver"
This would be 6 stars if Ed McMahon and Dick Clark were laughing at it.
My favorite Elvira/Cassandra tidbit is how she cannot remember whether or not she actually appeared topless on a Tom Waits album cover.
Is that her? That means Tom Waits did something good!
Tom Waits (who usually rules, for the record) says it is, she says she isn't sure, but that it very well could be.
The album in question is "Small Change".
I have that record. Tom Waits is really hit and miss in my book, I only really like him when he doesn't write his own lyrics (i.e. I only really like The Black Rider), but even that stuff I hardly ever feel like listening to. He has a really good ear for room tone, though - the production on most of his albums is excellent. Other than that, more often than not listening to him feels like talking to a freshman at Emerson College.
And I own 5 or 6 of his seminal albums, this isn't coming from a position of ignorance.
On the other hand, I also own Insane Clown Posse on vinyl, so who am I to judge?
I just pulled out the first pressing of the LP and it doesn't look much like her, but it could be the angle, I guess.
(not saying that to be snobby, it's actually relevant because the printing on reissues is a little less sharp)
I 100% agree as to him being hit or miss, but how can you not love "Closing Time" (my favorite) or "Frank's Wild Years" or "Rain Dogs"???
She actually seems like a really charming person.
I would hang out with her in a totally non-euphamistic way any day.
That liver bit was hot.
My local tv station is carrying her new show on their new cable channel. :D

Man oh man I don't believe it! This was my first introduction to the Mistress of the dark on Dick Clark's TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes. They had a bunch more than this too. They had a crazy music vid montage of her risque gags while a guy kept repeating "Take off that dress!!" over and over.
