What the hell are those Goddamn Chinamen up to now?
Riskbreaker - 2010-12-30
Background music provided by Justin Timberlake slowed down 800% I'm also surprised you can actually see something in chinese skies besides pollution.

Those are obviously chemtrails.
fedex - 2010-12-30

First thought, "Is that Goku blastin' off again?"
Second thought, "Is that DaftPunk's new music driven God's eye?"
All in all, amusing.

No you idiots, it's swamp gas.
Burnov - 2010-12-30
Holy shit, I've seen this.
I'm not shitting you, I've seen this with my own two eyes.
It did the exact same thing, it made a bright white conical discharge and then it started to move very quickly away.
I saw it while I was out with my girlfriend earlier in the fall.
It's really funny that this video would surface considering that me and my girlfriend had a discussion recently about what exactly it was.
I'm still stumped, but I'll be damned that's the same fucking thing.
Seeing it now makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
It's a mothra

"The Chinese government had said on previous occasions that the lights claimed to be UFOs were military exercises, but the government denied the Sept. 11 incident happened at all. "
Around september would've been around the time I had seen it myself.
I don't know, I think it's entirely plausible that the Chinese government was flying some terrifying new toys around to see what kind of shit they could stir up.
I'm not doubting that the Chinese also fired that missile off the coast of california as well.
I'd love to know what it's intended for aside from making me shit bricks.
you really need to learn to relax and not read the internet so much
There was no unidentified missile in LA, it was the wind-spread contrail of a commercial plane coming in from Honolulu.
As for this UFO, it's the trail of a two-stage rocket. It's luminous because it's just after sunset, and the smoke is up high enough to still catch sunlight.

Ancient Chinese secret no more
poorwill - 2010-12-30
Inscrutable, these Chinese ufos.
Charles - 2010-12-30
Looks just about exactly what I would imagine a successful test flight of the Russian rocket seen over Norway would look like. Pretty cool though.

Homeworld 2 Dimension merges with ours.
Ursa_minor - 2010-12-30
It's pretty cool when you can see the second stage of the rocket kick in. Never seen it from that angle before.

“That's really a UFO my grand father worked in nasa i saw many aliens pictures now i am a astronaut_ and made 2 satellites i n space i saw many ufos and i know space shuttles don't fly like that” ImranKhan440 1 day ago
I also moonlight as a bouncer.

Nothing more than Chinese rockets strapped to a chair.
knowless - 2010-12-30
the main glow is a central rocket.
then there are 2 stabilizing jets on both the port and starboard side, creating the jet equivalent of the rudder and elevator on an airplane,
and the smoothed diamond shape to the trail.
the ripple at :28 is a change in fuel tanks.
i dont know why they would want jet propelled troop transports, sounds expensive. probably just a missile.
