I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised to find that stuff I had thought was animated was, in fact, not.
5 for Xenos.
Old-fashioned organic visual effects and prosthetics beat CGI any day of the week.
WHO WANTS DESSERT
Resurrection was incredible. Let's take a horror/action series and have it's most pointless sequel be directed by a French arthouse director with a script written by Joss Whedon!
The director insisted on giving the human/alien hybrid grotesque hermaphroditic genitalia which the studio later digitally edited out.
Better than Alien 3.
"Still better than Alien 3" is pretty much it.
My favorite is the military knowing so much about the aliens that they could modify their DNA, but didn't think to acid-proof the cages.
If you think resurrection was bad, check out Alien vs. Predator.
you clearly missed AvP2.
Yeah, except they didn't edit out it's boob-things. Jerks.
In the DVD commentary the director admits due his limited English he had very little idea what was going on in the movie during filming.
So much greatness wasted on this movie.
Much better than the actual movie.
Indeed. Alien and Aliens were great horror and action films. It's a shame studios run properties into the ground with terrible sequels.
Jet Bin Fever
This should just be shown in the place of the film.
This is gold, but the film was terrible.
