Shit, they used wire nuts and electrical tape and everything. This guy is too picky.

On the other hand, this is a pretty excellent decoy for the archetypal slasher trying to cut your phone line.
When I was a young lad my mom forced me to install our garage door opener. I was like 12. It was a pain in the ass. I never was able to get it set right so it would bind up after opening the door about halfway.

As for this guy I would think an extension cord would have been cheaper then all the romex and electrical tape.
this is just a rube goldberg device for electricity. if someone made this using marbles or eggs or something you'd all think it was genius.
