I don't understand the target audience of most cartoons anymore. I guess they found they could make more money by appealing to 20 somethings with neckbeards than children.

Good luck prying a kid from Call of Duty nowadays...

Riskbreaker - 2011-09-18

After the sucess of the new My Little Pony, this is nothing but the true. Expect more of these.

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-09-18

Did you guys mistake this site for Cartoon Brew?

themilkshark - 2011-09-18

I grew up on Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Freakazoid and Batman: The Animated Series. WB animation is usually a higher caliber than most shit on TV, even Disney's TV stuff.

Let's all be glad this is on the air and Baby Looney Tunes is in dollar store DVD bins.

Cena_mark - 2011-09-18

Why is it our parents watched cartoons as children and abandoned them, whereas we held on to them? Nothing wrong with liking cartoons.

Xenocide - 2011-09-18

Ask any animator, and they'll tell you that the target audience for most cartoons these days is "children...and their parents."

It's stupid to limit your audience to half the family, especially when animation is more costly than ever. You need every pair of eyes you can get. So when they say "entertainment for the whole family" they actually MEAN it.

(of course, most of it still sucks, but that's true of any medium.)

I'm more amazed that most people can't seem to understand this concept and think "for kids" and "for grownups" are mutually exclusive concepts. 16 years of Pixar films should have shown you all how absurd that is.

Old_Zircon - 2011-09-19

Kids are too smart for this crap, the only people who this would appeal to are adult children.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-09-19

"adult children", I wish that oxymoron wasn't so apt.

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-12-05

Do you think using terms like "neckbeard" and "adult children" make you sound like anything other than spiteful crybabies?

memedumpster - 2011-09-18

This sets a new bar for goddamned awful and horrible cartoon infinity.

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-09-18

I am legitimately surprised at how entertaining this show can be.

Cena_mark - 2011-09-18

It seems that Warner Brothers decided to listen to fans and stop making rubbish.

garcet71283 - 2011-09-18

I'm actually really impressed with artists. I mean, the animation isn't spectacular, but you can't fault the art direction. Wish they would use this type of animation for something other than Looney Toons.

charmlessman - 2011-09-18

Did he just summon a Star of David to devour the demon?

garcet71283 - 2011-09-19

I think that is your standard fantasy not-pentagram

charmlessman - 2011-09-19

Way to remove the funny with reality, man.

Bort - 2011-09-19

This is what happens when you play all your Uriah Heep albums at the same time.

Jane Error - 2011-09-19

I always saw Daffy as more of a Rogue/Bard myself.

Crap tags leading to a dupe.
