Riskbreaker It's basically the main theme song of the film, repeated until nausea assaults you. A common trait in many games based on movies of the time.

Oh god, that FUCKING Robocop game. Some company got together and found a way to make Robocop BORING. Punches and dog bites can hurt him! Running out of time kills you more than bullets and explosions! Patiently sit around to defeat bosses!
I don't think I've been angrier at a potentially fun NES game since Battletoads.

You know, I did some calculations today. I went on Wikipedia, looked up the full list of GC-CX episodes, and determined which ones I'd seen and which I'd yet to see. Turns out I've seen 42 full episodes over the space of the last few months. That's 42 episodes, or, at 58 minutes an episode, just shy of 41 hours.
I've spent an entire work week's worth of my life watching a middle aged Japanese man play Nintendo.

Also, this episode was great, has lots of fun moments. The robocop parts were not the best, but not because of Arino, the game is just an atrocious mess plain and simple.

EvilHomer Over 80 more hours, and that's just the episodes that've already been produced as of today. I'm looking forward to every minute of them, too.
It's funny, I've started adopting various Arino-isms into my everyday life. I do his "triumphant fist raise" now, and I've involuntarily shouted "Abunai!" at least six or seven times over the past couple weeks. And not just while watching the show, either; abunai has completely replaced "watch out" as my interjection of choice. Is anyone else doing this? Or am I just going insane?

EvilHomer Also, why did they pick Robocop, anyway? I get that they wanted an "American" game for this episode, but what the hell?! Why not play, I dunno, God of War? Arino loved God of War when he tried it at that Western Games shop, it's insanely popular over here in the States, and it'd make for great television. Sure, the first one isn't exactly "retro"- it came out for the PS2- but Arno's played PS2 games before: the second episode was a PS2 game!
So far this is a good episode with a great premise, but I demand a do-over with God of War instead of Robocop.

Riskbreaker They could have picked other games, they already made him play stuff like Prince of Persia and Lemmings. Almost anything else that was not Robocop would have been better. I played either this one or the sequel as a kid, and both have dogs hurting Robocop. Seriously, what the hell were they thinking.
