I always thought this series was Halo: RPG.

A goofy story that takes itself painfully seriously.
isn't that the case with all Bioware games these days?

I thought Jade Empire was their last good game. It was just a goofy kung fu movie.

I even liked the combat better =\

and you could have a threesome with a princess, yes. agreed. last good game.

Which is still one of the LEAST ridiculous "romance" options in their games.

Comrade Admiral
so, space opera.

It's a sci-fi pastiche that's taken seriously by people too young to know what it's homaging.

And Jade Empire was horrible, what is wrong with you. It was the exact same game as KotOR only with button-mashing combat, no character customization, and in a coat of Chinese paint so the droids were golems and instead of holograms they had energy crystals.

The exact same thing as KotOR set in a kung fu movie with better combat? Sounds good to me.

You play Mass Effect with a grin. I always thought it had a good 80's machismo about it.

that only works until the supporting characters start pouring out their grief on you

Yay for not-Skrimp!
