To paraphrase President Reagan, we must reject the idea that every time a person gets sick, society is responsible rather than the unhealthy person. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. Where Government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves. This Government would in the name of progress adopt every fragment of the socialist program.
