Don't be fooled! I can recall three other transformations she made (an old hag, a young girl, and a caterpillar).

Why she is great at parties.

I like to think that the dozen or so alien warrior forms she knew were species conquered by Brian Blessed's Matter Energy Computer.

Did she ever turn into a bee? Because that would have been hilarious.
She did! There was an android attacking Moonbase Alpha, and she eventually turned into a bee to short out the circuit boards in its head.
Which somehow reminds me, she once turned into a Kendo master, and her space pencil turned into a staff or a wooden sword. So yeah.
I for one get the joke:
I for one get nothing that was made after 1979:
Freiberger described the script: "What I did was try to get into the situation. How do you defeat the undefeatable? What intrigued me is that the Alphans could not seem to defeat this creature. Finally Maya becomes a bee and enters the creatures ear, discovering it to be a machine."
Space pencils are like pencils, but for space.
Actually, it's only 10:38 to 10:45 that's relevant, but it's a great episode.
Here's how to go straight to that part of the video:
Also: I for one etc:

Also: Catherine Schell tag?
Well... if it weren't for the mutton chops, yes. Somehow they over-designed her character.

Why does she look like Goku?
"Live-action Sun Wukong" Goku, I mean, not "DBZ Saiyan" Goku.
she COULD look like DBZ Saiyan Goku!
if she wanted to...

As a kid this show just bored me. Never made it through an episode.
