Please take off the Stephen King tag. This movie has nothing whatsoever to do with Stephen King's story of the same name and, in fact, he successfully sued to get his name taken off of it.
He did the same thing with The Shining, more-or-less. In King's case I like the movie more than the book/short stories most of the time, which for me anyway is rare.
not saying he's not a prolific genius, but seriously I couldn't get past book 4 of the Dark Tower, but would watch the fuck out of a movie or miniseries.
As far as I know he had no problem with Running Man (technically that was under a pseudonym) but did his best to get Long Walk banned after the Columbine shootings. He also directed Maximum Overkill.
It's Rage that he requested be discontinued and it was. You can still find it online and it's not a bad Richard Bachman book.
The Dark Tower was okay up until about the 5th one, for me. I read them all but the last two were extremely painful.
Did they seriously get rid of cybo man getting blown away in some releases?
I can't seem to find it, that's inexcusable, that was seriously one of the greatest scenes of ham acting I've ever seen in my life, and it's an absolute travesty if it was removed.
They did didn't they?
They changed it.
Those dirty rotten fuckers!
Yeah but one of us kept clicking :/
btw great coincidence some solicitor called my house just now as i was playing this:
TeleMark: may i speak to xxxxxx
GypsyDF: she doesn't live here
TM: ...is the */Man/* of the house there?
sorry poetv seems to ignore any text between less than/greater than characters
Again, i put the phone on the computer's speaker somehow when it was right at 1:34:45 where Brosnan says"yes!" and she probably listened to the next 10s
This, Hackers, Cool as Ice.
Never a more 90s trilogy ever made.
There's nothing more early-mid 90s than some form of entertainment, movies, comics, prose, etc. where Virtual Reality is the big thing in the story.
It really does look like vaporwave album art.
