The studio audience is the most absolutely totally 100% 90s thing I have ever seen. Side note: I went up to Snoqualmie Falls and Mount Si a few weeks ago. Much of that area still looks like the 90s.
North Bend's a cute little town. I was a little too young to realize how popular Twin Peaks was when it was on, but we'd go hiking up around there all the time. I think the town still has the coffee shop and a bunch of Twin Peaks stuff wherever you go. It's kinda like the Sunsphere from The Simpsons, but with more charm and less wigs.
Was this the one where some audience members says she wants to watch the show, but the opening theme music scared her so much she had to run out of the room and hide under a bed?
That's an interesting reaction. I'm afraid of butterflies of all things and nothing else so I understand that everyone has their own phobias, but the TP themesong is one of the most beautiful and peaceful TV show songs I can think of.
OH also I'm probably the last person to realize this, but I forgot that Laura says "see you again in 25 years" and the new one's the 25th anniversary. That's cool! Still, I hope it's a new cast True Detective style and it doesn't suck like Arrested Development's S4 did.
It was surreal listening to some 1990 television viewer acting like one of those 1890 movie goers who ran out of the theater to avoid being hit by the train coming at them on screen.
