Was that Guile's Theme at the end there?

Not quite, but I'm convinced that most Chill wave or whatever you wanna call it is based off of mid 90s videogames.

Wow! scroll down and look at the blender scene. All 3 scenes are pretty rad.

It's weird.. I had a dream that was kind of like this maybe a year ago and it's one of the few dreams that's really really stuck with me. Basically it was all my 80s cartoon memories, ending with the Thundercats and Jem getting captured and tortured by the bad guys in order to reveal the secret base. Most of the scenes were utilizing 80s technology like blenders.. like the girl gets a vaccuum cleaner tube up her you-know-what and it slowly sucks out her insides.. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with a fucked up vision of my childhood.

Maybe it will be cool, maybe it will be an 80's edition of that supremely shit pop-culture-references-strung-together "Family Guy" shit (which is complete shit).

Family Guy is shit.

they are making a Halloween anthology called "Tales of Halloween" with ten interlocking stories, and I can't wait for October.

Well, even if it is gonna be shit, it'll have an awesome synth score and I'm totally down with that.

It looks like all the fun of Guardians of the Galaxy (basically an 80s kid in a different galaxy but with plenty of references) without the PG-13 rating. While I liked GotG, James Gunn's earlier movies were very violent in a super-fun way, and was sad that I didn't get to see an anthropomorphic raccoon say "fuck." Thanks, Disney.

Chocolate Jesus is so mad about this movie.

But between this, Going Clear, and It Follows, I'm pretty excited to watch some stuff.

I only remember it because it got me into Le Matos, god bless 80's revival stuff spawning synthwave soundtracks.
