then they better show Phase IV!

I was going to link you to the mst3k episode of Phase IV, but I can't find it.

Apparently someone semi-recently unearthed some footage of the original ending of Phase IV, before the studio futzed with it.

If Alamo re-released a disc of that with the new footage, that would make me the happiest antphobic guy in the world.

memedumpster
How did it originally end? Did the ants not get the girl and live happily ever after?

This movie is totally wacky, as if it's basic premise being "The Omen" meets "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" wasn't enough, the filmmakers kept deciding "Now, at this point in the film we're really going to break the goofy meter!"

Plus appearances by Sam Peckinpah and Neil Boortz.

I can't get over that Glenn Ford, Sam Peckinpah, and John Huston made a film together and it is this insane.
