I loved this show so much when I was seven.

Hell, I still love it.

Robert Shields is a sculptor these days. Lorene Yarnelle was last seen playing Dot Matrix in "Spaceballs" and was, unfortunately killed by an aneurysm about five or six years ago.

Its hard to imagine how this shit blew people's minds 35 years ago.partly because "the robot" became such a perennial part of our culture. In no time, bands were incorporating it into their stage moves, most famously Devo, and from that point on, it never really went away.

God, they were cute as hell, both of them.
