DangerMouse is among the best things.
Used to watch this and Count Duckula on Nickelodeon or USA (whichever it was) as a little kid.
Also no Thames tag?

Did they ever make more than Danger Mouse and Count Duckula?
I'm pretty sure Thames Television made a few other shows, yeah.

infinite zest
Yeah Thames was around until the mid 90s, they were involved with cartoons the way ABC or CBS was, which is to say not a lot, and then not at all. However it looks like they also did the Wind in the Willows cartoon we all vaguely remember as well as some animated Terry Pratchett cartoon which I'd never heard of. Cool!

infinite zest
Then again I always liked Secret Squirrel more than Danger Mouse..

That guy
Didn't Thames make Benny Hill?

I think so.

The guy's responsible for this and Duckula have done a whole lot of other cartoons, along with a bunch of stop motion stuff.

infinite zest
Hehe.. also from Wikipedia: Thames Television cancelled production of the [Benny Hill] show in 1989 due to declining ratings and large production costs at 450,000 per show.

To be fair, every episode was about 6 hours long before they sped it up.

This is probably on television on some channel somewhere, what native english speaking person hasn't grown up with this on from time to time?
Jet Bin Fever
For a worried moment I thought this would be a trailer for a terrible remake.
I'm pretty sure that's in the works, sad to say.
