i agree this one was boring and i didnt look at a single video
one of the dumbest weeks but also waugh calling pot the kettle black is pretty hilarious. i love you waugh.
that should teach me not to post before my coffee.
I didn't pay attention (other than using it as an excuse to post some Italian horror) but I appreciate the necessity of flooding out the election crap.
I kind of liked that variant, Baleen. It rolls off the tongue quite nicely.
It now seems like the reincarnated LotsMoreOrcs, like his previous incarnation, divides equally between shitposting on us and cravenly seeking our attention. It should prove interesting to see how this develops.
I'm not going to try to pick a lesser evil, "weeks" and Waugh are equally stupid.
I think as a kid having a chance to be gruesomely killed off in a movie was my third most dreamed of thing, after seeing a ghost, and breaking into a rich kids house to play his amiga after somehow surviving nuclear war.
I lost track - is Waugh another SolRo, or is Waugh imitating SolRo ironically, or what? I skipped child death week.
Anyway I thought the 'evil' in PoE was always more in the same spirit as 'Everything is Terrible' or 'The Internet Makes You Stupid'.
You lost track because you're an idiot that thinks like Waugh.
Waugh's like an AARP member playing Sex Pistols in his convertible at this point.
SolRo's the empty trunk.
FIVE FOR DRAMA.
We really should have followed through on "PoeTV watches itself week". As long as everybody just wants to jerk each other off and have fistfights, why not have a week for it?

I, for one, enjoyed Child Death Week--although I only skimmed a few of the more innocent submissions, such as Nicolas Cage with a moustache shooting the wee son of John Travolta (no moustache). Maybe things got darker elsewhere, but from what I saw this was an entertaining-enough meditation on one of our last taboos. The videos were wrapped up in several decades' worth of cliche and overstylization, and it was sort of fascinating to see that the only thing they had in common (of the ones I watched) were slow motion and a really heightened sound track. It's fun to watch the most sentimental parts of film out of context; it makes it easier to see the wizard at work.
That said, I wouldn't blame anyone for coming down against Child Death Week for any reason. It's not exactly a tasteful thing to indulge.
Waugh, you're getting really boring. Could you change it up a bit?
I STARTED CHILD DEATH WEEK
NEXT IS DARK SIDE OF COMEDY WEEK
I somehow feel that child death week is some sort of inside joke, that only privileged PoE users understand the meaning of. Same is to be said of all the "weeks".
HEY GUYS IN NEW TO THIS WHOLE POETV THING (adjusts golf visor) I GOT THE KIDS IN THE CAR SO I CAN ONLY POP IN FOR A COUPLE MINUTES
HEY WHATCHA GOT COOKING IN THAT SPOON
IS THAT THE NECK STABBED CORPSE OF A FILTHY TRANSIENT OF INTDETERMINATE GENDER
AH JEEZ IM GONNA TAKE OFF
As the inventor of the "necropuppetry tag" I think the simplest answer is that we're just consistently low brow, and sometimes the interference patterns spike into a crested chunk of the one true crass.
Child death in entertainment is bothersome to me, instances of poorly handled child deaths in movies or TV shows cause me to stop watching. It's been fun for me to recount those moments where I stopped giving a fuck about a story because they approached a serious subject without the proper treatment.
waugh vs lotsmoreorcs
whoever wins, someone is going to ramble poetically about an era of poe that didn't really happen
Wait, they're on different sides?
who the fuck are you and how would you know
no i'm asking how the hell you know what did or didn't happen if you weren't around
no stupid i'm yrmom and xiphias remember
Spaceman Africa and NewHeavenSockman are the same person?!?! Holy shit this changes everything.
And to think I trusted you, NewHeavenSockPUPPET.

According to the site Waughs 1st post was in 2012, I still feel like an uppity youngster who recently drifted in by poetv standards and my 1st post was in 2010* and I do not recall any golden age.
I didnt have internet at home when I was living in shitty apartments for college (Also I was too busy partying and being a stupid college student to care) so I only really re-discovered the internet then when I started working a fulltime deskjob after college (where they had internet of course)
