My one regret is that I never got to run a proper FEMA camp for that man.

Every clip I've heard from this is pretty great. Obama's a funny guy for a president.
BillLumbergh - 2016-05-05
even funnier than larry wilmore's speech. he's a charming guy.

War criminal rendered untouchable thanks to his cult of personality bids fond adieu to his spineless, sycophantic propaganda team.

Like you actually give a shit, fatty.

FTFY:
Intelligent, self-righteous, humorous, deeply compromising, well-spoken, path-of-least-resistance president ultimately pulls a bunch of punches in perfect style, as he has for 7.5 years.
Concubines shared between him and the media conglomerates are along for the ride, as they have been for 7.5 years.

Apres moi, le deluge

Hmm. That was actually a pretty good summary, That Guy.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2016-05-06
We're just tossing the phrase "war criminal" around pretty casually these days, huh?

The Mothership - 2016-05-06
Yea, what That Guy said.

Old_Zircon - 2016-05-06
I'm with That Guy.

Obama's one charming, domestic spying, drone strike ordering, wall street capitulating, TPP endorsing son of a bitch, and I look forward to his future as a public personality.

Name a US president since Carter who ISN'T a war criminal.

Also, notice how Sanders-friendly he is throughout this. He's got some pretty cutting jabs at Clinton but whenever Sanders comes in to play he's always the SETUP for a throwaway joke, none of them are at his expense unless something happens in the second half I haven't had a chance to watch yet.

>>Name a US president since Carter who ISN'T a war criminal.

I can't, and I don't think anyone else here can, either. The trouble is, that's NOT a point in Obama's favour!

If Obama's personality cult isn't going to collapse under the weight of its own bullshit, and the best apologetic arguments his True Believers can muster are "but he makes me feel nice" and "oh, well, every US president these days is a dirtbag so who cares about Libya/Syria/Afghanistan/Iraq", then I'm sorry, but we are going to fucking deserve the coming storm of Trump.

I am not saying I'll refuse to hide any of you Poesters in my attic out of spite, but I will come up there every night and say I told you so.

EvilHomer - 2016-05-06
To be fair, I did think Obama's joke about Trump closing Gitmo by running it into bankruptcy was funny, but not for the reasons Obama intended.

Deserves got nothing to do with it.

Carter's a war criiminal too.

Obama looks pretty damn good compared to just about anyone who came before him.

One cool cat.
Jet Bin Fever - 2016-05-05
He's got impeccable timing, which makes the comedy seem really natural for him. I preferred Wilmore's much more awkward, uncomfortable, confrontational comedy from the night though. Wolf Blitzer seemed to love it too!
cognitivedissonance - 2016-05-05
These may be cute, but they're no longer something that a leader of empire should really be doing.

When you head back home to the 15th century in the time portal be sure to say hi to all the lords and duchesses, Sir Buzz Killington.
