I wasn't really big on dogs until I started working my current job. Lots of dogs come in, and now I'm pretty pro dog.

I never had the chance to own a dog, and eventually I realized that every single dog owner I've ever seen is either irresponsible or abusive or both.

Despite a few bad ones, ranchers at least have the motivation to care for their animals out of economic necessity, rather than breeding them for looks and making them stick around for years and years with degenerative disorders as a replacement for human contact.
